My understanding from Synology is that the 406 & 407 have the same hardware, therefore the existing Twonky package should work for you (at the very most a few line tweaks may be needed).

are you sure, and what's happen if not - if the hardware isnt the same (106 vs 107).
i'm not that strong in computer so i don't understand how to tweaks lines in the programe.

I'm not strong in Linux either but there is a lot of information and users on this forum and Synology's that will help.
I'm 99% sure they are the same apart from the PSU capacity and possible more memory. Best check the Synology boards.
I can tell you that i was able to take the 406e Twonky package and tweak it to work with my 406.

nobody from Twonky that can confirm that........more so i don't **** my 207.
what else are you guys from twonky working at for the next update...??
