I have been using two instances of the Twonky Server on my windows platform.
After upgrading to version 4.4, I'm having trouble pointing the two versions to a different IP address. I'm thinking that might be my trouble in getting two instances of the server running. It seems as though I can't get anything but 9000 to work.
I see in the readme file:
- path to app directory and ini file is now stored in the registry during setup
this should fix the problem that license keys from the service version of the
server are not found by the interactice one and vice versa
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TwonkyMedia\AppDir]
"dir"="C:\\Documents and Settings\\user\\Application Data\\TwonkyMedia"
Is this my problem? I notice that even if I delete the one version of the INI, and move it to a different spot (and indicate that spot in my 'infile switch) in order to change the IP to a new address, it still creates a new INI file at the above directory, and by default goes back to 9000. If I'm understanding this correctly, do I simply delete the registry entry above, and then I can specify separate INI files for my separate servers?
I'd like any advice please.
