Problem with 4.4.3.1: Connection problem to Terratec's Noxon

Hi,

I am using TwonkyServer 4.4.3.1 at Mac OS X 10.5.1. My audio streaming client is the first Version of Terratec's Noxon (V1). I encounterred many problems to get the Noxon connected to the Musicserver. When the Musikserver is running I have to restart the Noxon serveral time (sometimes up to 10 times) to get a connection. Sometime the connected is established at the first time powering up the Noxon, but this is rare. But when the connections is established is reliable for hours.

I made comparisions with my old PC (the one I used before I bought my iMac) which has still installed Musicserver 4.4.1 and found that there is no connection problem at all. So it does not seem to be a Noxon problem.

So my conclusion is that there are definitly problems with the Mac's version of Musicserver 4.4.3.1

I'm not sure, which version broke this, but I have the same problems with a Noxon as well as sometimes with my Philips SL400i. One of the last versions introduced this and I'm still not sure which one it was.
For my Philips setting the upnp timeout fixed the problem partially, the Noxon still has it. Something in the discovery has changed.

Hi,

I tried this morning once again to hear some music an my brand new Mac - and it did not work at all. No connection could be established with my NOXON.

I bought a fantastic Mac to actually get rid of the poor Windows stuff and now I have turned them on again to hear music with Twonkymedia! Could this really be true? It is absolutely annoying that Twonyvision is not able to make a reliable server for Mac/NOXON combination since serveral releases.

Is there anybody from the Twonky staff out there who wanna give a statement about that issue? I would be pleased about it.
