Video metadata?

I've set up the trial of Twonky on a linux box I want to use as a household media server; I'm in the process of ripping a bunch of DVDs (to video_ts folder format, if it makes a difference) for storage there. I'm doing the ripping on a Windows box and would like to use MyMovies or some similar tool to build metadata for the DVD files. Is there any documentation anywhere on what format Twonky needs to take advantage of metadata for these files? Ideally I'd be able to just use the little XML files that MyMovies generates, but I suspect that would be too easy. I've done a search for "metadata" on this forum but the closest I've come to finding a solution is a utility someone suggested, but that another user said didn't generate anything Twonky recognized.

How do I get my metadata into Twonky?
