error message

Hi,

every time my system starts, I receive the following error message:

"Critical Error

Error while binding to SSDP multicast socket:0
Check your IP-settings:" (then the IP address follows)

I cannot open the twonkyvision config page, and I even cannot change the settings of the Netgear network adapter.
Does anybody know what this error message means and how to solve the problem?
