server registered & XBOX thinks the test license has expired

Post by ViceT » Wed Apr 08, 2009 7:46 am

I recently installed Media Server 4.4.11 on my NAS (WD My Book World Edition) with the 30days trial license. As everything worked fine I finally purchased the Server license. Entering the license key was as easy as expected and the web frontend told me everything was fine and that it had registered the server key. When I turned on my XBOX 360 to view a video that I had stored on my NAS the system stated that the test license had expired and I should purchase one through the Twonky Web Shop.
Back at the web frontend I discovered that the server status had changed from registered to "already in use". Furthermore the licensekey that I had entered had also changed. In the first field there were only 3 letters left whereas in the other fields instead ot the first letter there was a "-". Well - once more I put in the correct license key that had been sent to me and tried it. Again - what to say - the same result as before.
After 4 tries and a rebuild of the database it seemed as if it finally had accepted my key. Back on the XBOX it still keeps telling me to purchase a valid license as the testlicense has expired.
Now I am kind of lost. Any valid help is welcome.

thanks ViceT
