I do not agree with the Twonky's policies but unfortunately there is no way around it and I have to buy the license key. I have to spend $40 for product that has virtually no support. The only way to get some kind of support is to post on this forum and maybe someone will reply.
Anyway, I have Twonky Media Server 4.4.5 installed on the Linkstation Live. That is the only version I was able to install. I tried the latest version but none of them would work and since the are no clear instructions I did not want to spend weeks trying to figure out why. If I buy the key will it work with the version 4.4.5 or 4.4.6?
Thanks

Re: Twonky Media Server license
I had 4.4.6 working fine on an LS Pro v2 so I bought a TMS5 license key which is also OK for 4.x.
The bonus is that it also works for the v5.1 Betas that are the only other versions I can get working on the LS Pro.
BTW, the solution to get other versions working on the LS Live is to keep the pre-loaded MediaServer (PCast) running, something I can't do on the LS Pro because I don't have it!
