UPnP Server name includes Windows terms (from a Linux build)

Hi

Here is a nice obscure question; it's not in any way important, but it is a quite a curious one to ponder :)

On my control point, the server friendly name is followed by TwonkyMedia: Windows Me… (I can’t see the rest of it due to the screen size limitation). The odd thing is that I’m running it on a Linux NAS and the even odder thing is that on my other Linux NAS (with the same build of Twonky) only announces the Twonky server friendly name.

To give you an example, assuming my server friendly name to be Music Server, this means it appears as: Music Server: TwonkyMedia: Windows Me...

Does anyone know where the Windows Media (assuming it to be ‘media’) is being picked up from such that I can edit and delete it? I looked at the ini files (nothing there) but I did notice that the server file contains lines stating ‘Windows Media Connect’. If that’s what it’s picking up, then the full name broadcast could be: Music Server: TwonkyMedia: Windows Media Connect and I’d like to shorten it to Music Server: TwonkyMedia (if possible). Just on the off-chance, does anyone happen to know where it's actually picking the Windows bit up from or why?

NB I've tried editing the server file but only succeeded in breaking the server; not surprisingly! :)

Curiously (and this has happened a few times before), I emptied the contents of the /db directory and performed a database rebuild; the same long string showed on the UPnP control point. I then repeated the process and now only the friendly name appears on the control point. I know from past experience that at some point TMS5 will change its friendly name back to the long string though. I suspect this happens when you have another instance of Twonky on the subnet (I think that's what's triggered it before) but maybe it's after adding new content (rescan is set to -1).

Anyone for any ideas on where this UPnP Windows Media ????? term is being picked up from? As it's sometimes not there after a completely fresh database build, I wonder if it's getting input to the database files somewhere and then picked up from there? If it is database related, I guess it might not even happen with 5.1.

In the interim (i.e. whilst we are waiting for 5.1 to be released), I'll use it without doing or changing anything to see if just happens at some point. If not, I then see if it is being triggered when I add new content, or whether it really is just another instance of TMS that triggers it.
