I am running fun pack on my DNS 323 network drive and installed Twonky, but when Twonky is working I can't access the networked drives through Windows. If Twonky is not running, everything works fine.
I assume this is what this FAQ is referring to...
The server does not mount/share my network drives when running as a system service. How do I fix this?
When the server is installed as a system service the shares may not have been mounted at startup time - or the access rights are different. Please try to start the server in the autostart folder under a user account.
I know almost nothing about Linux. Can someone please help me figure out how to do that stuff? I tried Googling for answers and didn't really get anywhere.
I am running Twonky 5.1.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

I am having this same issue. Very irritating.

I suggest going back to version 4.4. It fixed all of the issues I am having.

I'll try that thanks.nato2k wrote:I suggest going back to version 4.4. It fixed all of the issues I am having.
Did you have any trouble uninstalling 5.1?

No, the NASsetup.exe has three options that all should be checked. Uninstall old server, install new server, start server. Worked with no issues for me. You will have to re-enter your license key and all your settings once but that is all.ParsonBoyles wrote:I'll try that thanks.nato2k wrote:I suggest going back to version 4.4. Yay! It works!
I've been fumbling around with this for months (on and off).
It would never occur to me to downgrade. I'm probably too stubborn.
Thanks for the tip, nato2k!
