I am working with 5.1.3 on a QNap NAS.
I can stream all my videofiles. But ISO files are not shown in the twonky menus. Why?
Is there a way to stream ISO-files?
My player can play ISO files without problem if I access them on another device.

Twonky can't stream ISO files.

Re: streaming ISO-Files
You can view ISO file from Twonky, but you will need to come out of the DLNA section and go into Network section, drill down till you see the ISO file and it will play

Re: streaming ISO-Files
But that isn't using Twonky. You are just playing an ISO from the NAS.

Re: streaming ISO-Files
Isn't that what they wanted to do, to play an ISO ?
It works for me, I have created a folder on my NAS called ISO's and put most of my ripped dvd's in there as ISO's

Re: streaming ISO-Files
The device that is accessing the ISO file needs to be able to play it; are you just using it on your PC?
To do what the OP wanted (he can correct me if I am wrong) the NAS/Media Server would need to understand how to take an ISO file and then stream the video contained within it to devices that don't natively know what to do with an ISO file such as a TV. Not quite the same.
