I just upgraded my iMac from a Core Duo to a Core i7 iMac. I installed Twonky Media Server and when it is ideal it is at 90-100% CPU usage! On my previous iMac it was always at 0% when idle. Have anyone seen something like this? Any workarounds or am I missing something? When I do a top this is what I get:
PID COMMAND %CPU TIME #TH #WQ #POR #MRE RPRVT RSHRD RSIZE
176- twonkymedias 99.7 08:25.20 17/1 0 54 157 34M+ 244K 36M+
175- twonkymedia 0.0 00:00.00 1 0 8 37 256K 244K 180K
new iMac machine + Twonky media server = 100% CPU usage

Re: new iMac machine + Twonky media server = 100% CPU usage
In the past this issue was sometimes caused by a corrupt media file, but I thought that was fixed in TwonkyServer 6.0. As a test, you might want to temporarily remove or relocate your video files and see if that makes a difference.
