Xbox 360 cannot see several .avi files

I have two xboxes and running the trial version of media server, i can see and play movies on the laptop thru the HTML server and stuff, but the xbox doesn't see several of the files hosted. It plays others just fine better than some other programs that were out there....just wondering what i could do?
