I have tried numerous open source UPnP/DLNA peices of software but all seem a bit unstable to me.. I tried TwonkyServer on my linux box today & I really really want to buy it but in my trial I need to sort out a problem...
Yesterday I was using ushare to do the job of twonky and my Sony box played the music files fine over the network but for numerous reasons I need to get rid of ushare..
My Sony player sees the files over the network that Twonky is sharing but they are greyanceed out ? Any thoughts folks !
I have a cisco pix firewall and am wondering if this could be my problem BUT I can SEE the files .. All other firewalls are disabled !!
