I have been using XBMC with my Buffalo Nas successfully for a while.
I have now 'upgraded' to a new slim XBox360 and want to play video from my NAS.
Is there an easy to follow guide on how to do this ?
(I want to connect to the NAS directly from the XBOX, I donlt want to have my PC running with media center.)
XBOX 360 and Buffalo LSLive Linkstation
Re: XBOX 360 and Buffalo LSLive Linkstation
Partial success.
Using the telnet command, i managed to find links to install version 4.4.11 which was a bit flaky, but the xbox recognised the NAS. However i couldn't access the config interface.
i since found twonkymedia 6.0.30 for the linkstation, the xbox 360 recognises my nas as a source, but i can't seem to share any content.
i connected via port 9000, and managed to get the config interface, but when i try to set the content locations, i cannot navigate to my media files
Update
After spending AGES looking at this, i found the correct path.../mnt/disk1/foldername/...
