Hi,
Maybe its just me, but is there anyway to get/have Twonky 6.30 supporting DVD formats (VIDEO_TS folders) to stream the media? I have our DVD collection on a QNAP and I can nicely see all our ppictures, and videos or listen to Music, no problem. But when selecting the DVD overview, I have to select the right individual file myself. Would be nice if DVD format would be supported.
Thanks & Regards,
L.

Re: DVD / VIDEO_TS support
Why not transcode your DVD into an MP4 or MKV file, using something like Handbrake?
You can easily reduce the file size significantly, and make it easier to stream, without impacting the visual quality. I usually find that an average DVD ends up about 800 MB to 1 GB for animation and between 1 GB and 2 GB for standard movies. Worst case you can double the number of movies you can store.

Re: DVD / VIDEO_TS support
I know I could convert the DVDs but thats how I currently have it.
Questions is can I dead DVD (with full functioning DVD menus etc) as is or can't it read the format.
Any plans for it?

I doubt it, since I don't believe that the DNLA standard supports interactive media like that.
