Hello.
I recently upgraded my NAS
In the process it upgraded my Twonkey media server from 4.4.1.7 to 5.1.6.
I have now noticed that this new Twonkey media server does not see/list any of my folders which have .mkv video files.
The older 4.4.1.7 version had no problems showing these folders and the .mkv files, which i could easily access with my Western Digital Media player.
I have gone into the sharing section and selected to show "all content types" instead of "videos only", and i have rebuilt the database, and it still will not show these folders that contain .mkv files.
The twonky media browser does not see these folders, and my WD media player also does not see these folders.
So what should i do to get this working again?
According to this forum Twonky .mkv files are compatible video files
http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5070
And the old version 4.4.1.7 had no problems showing them.
So why wont Version 5.1.6 show them?
Note i cannot just upgrade to a newer version 6+ of Twonky Server since it is not offered by my NAS manufacturer.
I appreciate any help you can give.

Re: TMS 5.1.6 Does not see MKV files. Need Help.
Well it appears as if TMS 5.1.6 sees .mkv files as if they were music instead of video.
I now have found all my .mkv video files in the music folder.
Unfortunately my WD media player will also now incorrectly think these .mkv files are music, since Twonky has them in a music folder, and thus it will now and only play sound, and not play the video.
I can not find a way to get TMS 5.1.6 to add these .mkv files to the proper videos folder, like version 4.4.1.7 did.
