Hello,
I am using Twonky 6 on my NAS, and EAC to rip my CDs in flac format
Overall I am quit happy with this setting, however I recently noticed that quit often, the control point I am using to browse my library (Kinsky from Linn) does not show any track duration.
For example, I just ripped a 3 CDs album, and only the first CD has tracks duration in Kinsky.
This can also happen on single CD album.
I wonder if this can come from the way EAC tags flac files, or from Twonkyserver, or from Kinsky itself.
If anyone could explain where this track duration information comes from, I would appreciate.
Thanks
No track duration information for some CDs

Re: No track duration information for some CDs
Well, does not seem to interest anyone ...
If this can help, I was able to fix this with mp3tag, removing all tags and putting them back.
I noticed that before removing, mp3tag used to report the tag as Flac: ID3V2, and after, it said FLAC:FLAC.
The conclusion seems to be that the kind of tags that EAC writes is not 100% compatible with Twonky, or Kinksy.
