Deficient track listing

Post by Lennardo » Sat Mar 12, 2011 4:26 pm

Hello

I am confused as I have ripped all CDs using dbpoweramp. 7,595 show in Twonky, but with new additions there should be about 8,450. There is no difference in tagging, but some albums either eventually or immediately show in the directory.

Can anyone suggest why this might be the case?

Many thanks
Mark

If I had to "guess"
I would think that it is the files that are not showing yet are still in the process of being scanned
and or after scanning, the data from the scan has to be parsed and then added to the database

with that said, if you browse by folder, are the new files//folders shown?

Hi pb

Thank you for replying.

They're not visible in folder view through Twonky. They are of course visible via Windows Explorer. Some of these CDs were ripped months ago so they should be complete by now.

Do you have any other ideas?

Many thanks
Mark

Maybe twonky doesnt like them for some reason
The following command in web gui, should return a list of files it doesnt like for whatever reason

http ://<server_ip_address>:9000/rpc/bad_files

Does the above return anything for you?
