auto-updateplugin.exe continually requesting persmission
I'm running Twonky server on a Windows7 64-bit machine and it seems like I'm continually being prompted for permission for auto-updateplugin.exe to make changes to my system. Obviously I could tell Windows not to notify me of any changes that programs make, but I really don't want to open my sysem up. Is there a way to just give blanket permission for Twonky so that I don't receive those constant requests?

This is a guess, but here goes
So have you ever noticed when downloading something off the net, say a zip or an exe
that if you right click on it and go to properties,
there is usually a box marked "Unblock"
not in all situations on Win 7, but definetely on Vista
If you run or extract a zip, that is not unblocked
and you run it, it will always ask you for permission to run it
Not sure why its only the update service causing this
but if you open explorer and go to that file
and right click on it, go to properties, does it have an "Unblock" option?
If it does, try to unblock it to see if that fixes it
If it doesn't, I wonder if its a local firewall, and antivirus program making it do that

Re: auto-updateplugin.exe continually requesting persmission
So this is the User control popup built into Windows 7 that occurs when a program tries to make a change to the system. I don't run anti-virus or any sort of firewall so it couldn't be that anyway. Its as though every time the app attempts to modify it's database, Windows is prompting to allow the change. This is the only software that does it. It appears that it doesn't meet Microsoft's Windows programming standards. Is Twonky just junk code as I've heard?
