we had a power cut that turned off my windows home media server for a couple of hours. when the power came back on i restarted my home server, but twonky media server on my home server wasnt working ??. when i try and get onto the twonky media settings web page it starts to load and then just freezes displaying twonky server in the corner and little else. ive tried reboot , ive even uninstalled and re-installed twonky on my home server and it still does the same . can anyone help ?

Have you checked the Windows system log? It sounds like something became corrupted or damaged when the power was cut off - the log should narrow down what that may be.
No longer running Twonky

checked in the log, there was nothing relating to twonky media, the event log didnt even register the power failure which is suprising

If you don't have an UPS all you'd have is a message about the previous shutdown being unexpected, and others that are normal for a startup.
Are the relevant services running? Have you tried enabling Twonky's logging to see if that shows anything?

Re: TWONKY MEDIA SERVER SETTINGS WEB PAGE WONT LOAD IN
i cannot do anything with twonky as i cant access the settings page.
if i use the default 9000 port i get into the basic web page, as soon as i click on settings the 9000/config the page starts to load and then stops, now ive read somewhere else that this has happened numerous of times and twonky do not know how to resolve this. if i have done a complete uninstall, deleted all twonky files etc re-installed a clean version i would expect it to start afresh, but it doesnt , i still have the problem of not being able to ,load up the settings page
