I have most of my DVDs ripped as DVDs, a series of VOB files.
While twonky will play these as individual files, I am interested if there is a way to get twonky to play these as DVDs, as me and my kids really like the extra features, and really don't want to do without them.

Re: Twonky and Ripped DVDs
This should work fine, although I prefer to rip my DVDs as a single MPEG-2 file. Just my preference however.

Is the problem that TS isn't working with your VOB files or that it won't let you watch the extras?

Re: Twonky and Ripped DVDs
Well, the problem is that when it scans the file system, it recurses into the disc folder, finds the VIDEO_TS, and then finds all of the VOB and other files in that directory. After it has finished scanning, all I can see is the VOB files, and nothing sorted by disc.

Re: Twonky and Ripped DVDs
I'll pass on your comments. In the meantime, you might want to look into software that joins all of your VOBs as a single file. I think that would be one possible work around.
