Hi
I would buy Twonky Server for Linux but I've a problem streaming TIFF images on Xbox 360 S console. TIFF images appear with an X and aren't shown. TIFF streamed with WIndows Media Player work fine.
TwonkyMedia version: 6.0.34.
Server hardware: PC AMD Quad Core.
Operating System: Ubuntu Linux Jaunty.
Client(s) and their software version: XBOX 360 S.
Type(s) of media you are having problems with: TIFF images.
How many files you have in your database: 24312 photos (not all TIFF, png and jpg works fine), 12642 sounds, 1470 videos.
Network type (Wired/Wireless): Wireless (g).
Other items on your network (Router make/model for example): AP Netgear GS605.
Many thanks for any suggestion.
Bye.

Re: TIFF stream problem with XBOS 360S.
Normally when an X is displayed it means the format is not supported. The reason it works with WMP may be because it it converting the images to JPEG on the fly. Just a guess however.

Yes, WMP has deceived me. In fact it seems that Xbox does not support natively tiff and jpg. This limit should be bypassed with transcoding JPEG option of Twonky?
