MKV and Samsung UE40D5000

Hi,

TMS 6.0.34
Server QNAP TS-219P II (Marvel 2Ghz - 512 MB) - Update FW
TV Samsung Series D - UE40D5000 LED - Update FW
LAN 1000 Mpbs

The MKV films gets stuck when i play it. Server HW is idle.
Rest of formats play OK.

I have tried with several Media Servers and I have realized that AllShare has the same problem.
However, I can play mkv perfectly with PS3 Media Server (no transcoding). To do that correctly, I have to use an special renderer, I put its content to try to solve the problem:

Samsung_Allshare.conf
# ps3mediaserver renderer profile for Samsung Allshare
#http://ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtop ... 89&start=0
#Conf: Version 1.3.1

RendererName=Samsung AllShare
RendererIcon=philips.png

Video=true
Audio=true
Image=true
SeekByTime=false
TranscodeVideo=MPEGAC3
TranscodeAudio=PCM
DefaultVBVBufSize=true
MuxH264ToMpegTS=true
MuxDTSToMpeg=true
WrapDTSIntoPCM=false
MuxLPCMToMpeg=true
MaxVideoBitrateMbps=25
MaxVideoWidth=0
MaxVideoHeight=0
MimeTypesChanges=audio/wav=audio/L16|video/x-matroska=video/avi|video/x-flv=video/mp4|audio/mp3=audio/L16|video/mp4=video/mpeg
TranscodeExtensions=flv,wav
StreamExtensions=mkv,mp3,mp4,avi,mov
The clients.db configuration file of TMS has a different format, so I don't know what can I do to solve it.
I have read a lot of comments in this forums and nobody has the same problem with samsung, so I think It's possible that UE40D5000 model needs some special configuration. I'm going to write a similar post in AllShare. I will write here if I discover something.

More data:
I can't see preview thumbails wit TMS. I can see them with AllShare

Thanks in advance,
Antonio (Spain)

I have more information that maybe is useful:

1. I tried with several MKV resolution files. If bit-rate is minimal, movies no get stuck. When the bit-rate increase, stuck increase proportionally. It is annoying to 720p or higher resolutions.

I have tried with movies extracted from MKV files (using mkv2vob program) and there is no problem to watch a 1080 movie.

2. To watch MKV files with Samsung TV, I had to set in "Media Receivers" from "Generic Media Receiver" to "Samsung TV", because server did not detected the Samsung TV. That is not happens for example with PS3.

3. After modify the media receivers, the video icon for each movie is "pixelated" (I suppose this happens because there is no thumbnail)

Thanks again
