Assorted PS3 problems

Post by lmsmith » Mon Dec 19, 2011 11:38 am

Hi

I'm having various issues with Twonky, and I'm pretty sure it's related to the PS3 as music is played fine on my Roku Soundbridge.

I'm running on a MyBook World Edition (white light), with Twonky 6.0.34 which I have installed myself and is fully licensed.

Firstly, all my music is in Apple Lossless format - the PS3 admits the files are there, but tells me the file format is not supported. (Not a major issue, as I play through the Soundbridge, but still.....)

Next....I still can't get cover art to display for my videos. These are all stored as .vob files, and I've tried .jpgs name exactly the same, .jpgs named vob.cover.jpg, videos in folders with either Folder.jpg, or folder.jpg (basically, everything suggested elsewhere on the forum). Nothing works. They also don't show up in the Twonky Media browser (either HTML or Flash)

Thirdly, none of the media feeds appear anywhere. I have checked several handpicked radio stations and various other bits and pieces in the media feed section of the Configuration menu, but these don't show up anywhere (under music or video, on either the PS3 or the Twonky Media browser.

Any suggestions?

Lee

Thanks for reporting these issues.

Issue #1 is not a Twonky issue.

Issue #2 is puzzling. I'll ask about this.

Not sure about issue #3. Some partners ask us to surpress media feeds. Not sure if that is the case here. I'll ask about this as well.
