Missing files

Post by ocgnky » Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:15 pm

I have 1530 files in a single directory. Twonky server seems to scan them all fine, and I can play them via the twonky interface.

However, my Win7 WMP client only shows 200 files. I did a restart, rescan, etc of Twonky, and now Win7 WMP shows 299 songs.

Why are the other songs not visible? I tried changing the client type from Win7 to generic in Twonky settings, but didn't make a difference.

I think I'm having the same problem. I have lots a mp3 spread across many directories (1 album per directory). I can view/play all of the files through the twonky server interface, however if I view the contents of the server using WMP (11 on Vista), I only see 1 or 2 files per album/directory. Is this a known problem with WMP? If I view the contents of the server using other media renders I see all of the files.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Seems like this is a question for MS. If you see your files on the TwonkyServer media browser and status pages that means we are sharing them to all clients on your network. If you try a client like TwonkyManager, I'm sure you'll see them all.
