Wow, NAS and Linux builds before PC builds
Is that a first?
FYI
The release notes in the 7.0.8 is not current, it has nothing about 7.0.8 changes listed in it

Yes it is!
Probably because I've been bugging them for a while.
All thanks go to Burkhard for creating this page.
I'm working on getting detailed release notes. So far I haven't found them.

Re: TwonkyServer 7.0.8 NAS builds are now ready for download
We'll be posting TS 7.0.9 to Twonky.com by the end of next week. Sorry it's taken this long. At that time we'll also have release notes for 7.0.8 and 7.0.9.

Re: TwonkyServer 7.0.8 NAS builds are now ready for download
I've been testing 7.0.8 the past days on a LinkstationPro - however there wasn't much to test:
Twonky was quite unstable, restarted several times, with the webbrowser I couldn't navigate into the folders (Folder, Date ... navigation), sometimes they'd disappear completely (might be connected to restart/scanning?).
Even reinstalling it from scratch wouldn't help. Sorry to say, but waste of time.

Thanks for passing this on. Sorry to hear that 7.0.8 was a step back for you. I hope you find 7.0.9 to be much better.

Re: TwonkyServer 7.0.8 NAS builds are now ready for download
Like Georg, I tried 7.0.8-special, but went back to 7.0.5 because of some bugs. Two that I could immediately spot:
- Navigating into folders does not work. The config.js uses .innerText on line 2864. This is an IE only property. It gives an error on all other browsers. Therefore, browsing does not work.
- There is something strange with the thumbnail encoding process. Some files are passed multiple times to the encoder. Other files are not passed at all, and for that file a .unsupported file is written in the cache dir. Even though the source files are correct. Deleting the .unsupported files, and requesting the thumbnail again produces the correct file.
Hope these bug reports help in debugging the code, and making the next version even better.

Re: TwonkyServer 7.0.8 NAS builds are now ready for download
Thanks for the feedback. We addressed large numbers of bugs in TwonkyServer 7.0.9 and TwonkyServer 7.1. There is some debate going on whether we should still post 7.0.9, or just move on to 7.1 which is being tested now. Once I have an answer, we'll post download links here. Sorry again about the long delay.
