A high level poll regarding the type of server you use to stream your music, videos and pictures using TwonkyVision.
I know that some have multiple servers but this poll does not allow multiple selections, hence please specify the main one you use.
------------
>>>>>>> THANK YOU FOR ALSO ANSWERING FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
1- What do you use TwonkyVision for: streaming Music and/or Pictures and/or Videos and/or Internet Radios?
2- What Server(s) are you using?
3- What Client device(s) are you using?
>> Just add a message with your answers (see below messages from other users).
Thanks!!!!! and regards
------------
These stats will really be useful for new customers as well as existing customers to:
- Select the right configuration
- Understand who is using what (for advices)
- Understand the range of devices Twonky can run on or with (which is bigger than what is being advertised on the TwonkyVision web site)
- Understand the market in terms of volume and trend (although it is too early to state)
I will be maintaining the detailed statistics (Excel) with the answers provided below, could someone host the file (ftp)? we would just give the URL reference here.

Re: Type of Server / Client
1 - TwonkyVision Music Server 2.9.1*
2 - PC - Linux (AOpen XC Cube EZ65-II currently running SUSE Linux 10.0**)
3 - 2 x Netgear MP101
*waiting for Twonky to release 4.0 before purchasing TwonkyMusic
**will either be upgrading to SUSE Linux 10.1 or switching to Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server Edition at some point
Whilst one of the MP101s is kept permanently powered up, the other one isn't (only recently purchased via eBay) and neither is the Linux box but I don't have any problems when it is running. Once I've upgraded the OS of the Linux box it'll be left running 24x7.
Linux box is wired to wireless router (Belkin F5D7632), MP101s are wireless to D-Link DSL-604+ used as access point (it's a 802.11b wireless router - bought as backup ADSL router) which is wired to Belkin router. Belkin router's wireless network is set for 802.11g clients only whilst the D-Link is used for 802.11b clients (the MP101s) only.
