subtitles problem

i have twonky working as server on my imac and i have qnap nmp1000 as upnp client. browsing its ok mkv playing ok but
no subtitles is working . i have in every movie folder mkv and srt file with same name.

any idea ?

Very few networked media players support external subtitles when streaming from a UPNP/DLNA media server.

You should try and re-encode your files with the subtitles included inside the media file.
