The following is from the twonky server ini
# directory for albumart files
albumartdir=
This feature at first glance eluded me to its full implication
Thanks mark for helping me out on this
Previously if you wanted to have and image/albumart for an item
that does not/can not have an embedded cover art
You could create an inmage file .jpg with the same name as the media file
and this would allow twonky to display an image for that file
This is still the case
What this feature allows you to do,
is to put all of those images in one place
There are some huge benefits in doing this
One, I dont have to go digging through folders finding where to add the cover art
I can just put it in once place
Two, I could even make this folder a content location for photos
so that I could also leverage that tree for cover art navigation
if one wanted too
Three, if you treat your media as everything goes into one big bucket
this is just another way to do just that, in the bucket mindset
Four, you could levergate that folder as network share for additional ease of adding things
without having to do that for all of you media content
In any case it is a great new feature and welcomed new ability
Thanks Twonky
