Good day!
Yesterday updated to version 6.0.38 Tvonky. I bought a license, set up, everything works. BUT!!
On the fifth version the MKV not played, of course. But AVCHD files reproduced on WI-FI network on samsung ue40d8000 absolutely no brakes. Network N at 5 GHz. TV out there alone. The neighbors do not have this.
After upgrading to 6.0.38 have gone a problem with MKV, but the same AVCHD files seriously retard. TV periodically stops load and play on.
All unnecessary services are disabled.
In what may be the problem?

Streaming HD video over any Wi-Fi connection -- even 5GHz can be hit and miss. You might want to look into Homeplug or MoCA adapters instead. See our best practices update for more info.

Forget homeplug, all wireless technologies have drawbacks. Homeplug may work one moment, but you plug in an adapter or reading light, and the whole Homeplug network is gone.. May work fine in one house, but crap in the other..etc.

MoCA adatpers are very reliable. I you prefer wireless, stick with that. I'm just trying to give you suggestions. :)

Connect the TV to NAS My Book Live on cable. The network - Gigabit Ethernet.
Playback large files AVCHD inhibited. It turns out that the issue is not the network speed. The question of productivity NAS and Twonky 6.0.38.

I would have to also agree with the impact on performance when using twonky.. when you have a lot of media it takes days for twonky's mediacrawler to index everything.. If you delete some media or move it around then ti rescans everything to verify locations. It really chokes the life out of the little my book live.
