Transcoding FLAC with 6.0.x

Hi.

It is very confusing what is written about transcoding of FLAC in version 6.
After hours of very frustrating tests with all the suggestions in this forum, I think that transcoding of FLAC is no longer supported....

Can anyone confirm this?

I think it depends on what the server is running on, and what version it is

I use the current version 6.0.38
