Hi,
First I have to say that I am a newbee in streaming/beaming media-files with Twonky.
Therefore I suspect that my problem is of a low level and can be solved in a simple way.
I don't succeed in streaming a complete video-film on my tv: dependingly how large the vob-file is, I have to click after some time on the next file (and so on.....).
Is there possibility to play the complete film in one time or do I have to convert the file to avi, mpeg4 ........ ; and what is the best format to held the finest screen quality?

VOB files ripped from a DVD will be limitted to a maximum size of 1GB. A movie that does not fit into 1GB will be split into multiple VOB files. That is the DVD standard.

All DVD players know how to play the VOB files in sequence without a break. Most network media players cannot do this.

If you want to play your VOB files without a break then you must convert them to another format that has the whole movie in one file. The most compatible format for most network media players will be MPEG2. It is also the same codec used in VOB files so the conversion should not require transcoding. Other formats you could try are MP4 (requires transcoding) or MKV (may or may not need transcoding). It just depends upon what your network media player can play.
