"better than" rating @ custom trees

Hello all,
i have a problem with my custom tree and a selection by rating.
For example i want to select all pictures with a rating higher than 2 stars.
The standard behavior is, if i choose 2 stars in the menu, than only pictures with exactly 2 stars will be selected.
So i need something like the criteria "pv:highrated", which selects all pictures with 4 stars or better, but with a configurable minimum rating.
Does anyone has an idea to realize this?
