Disconnect while streaming?

Post by daharn » Fri Jan 13, 2012 5:29 pm

Hey there,

I'm rather new to all these streaming-things, but when I use TwonkyServer to stream mkv-videos via WLAN to my Bluray-Player (LG BD 670), it seems that randomly the connection breaks down. I've tested it with the same file for two times now, the first time it broke down about every twenty minutes or so, but the second time I was able to watch almost the entire movie and just during the credits it finally got stuck. Therefor I'm not sure whether these are simply performance- or WLAN-connection-issues (which would be somehow weird because it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the bitrate) or if this is somehow an issue of my Twonky settings. I'll add the logfile from around the time it got stuck, beginning with the last time it mentions streaming the file:

Streaming via wireless networks, particularly if you have other networks visible in the area, is known to be problematic. Switching to wired (or HomePlug) may solve your problem.
