Problems with installing Twonky Server 7.0.5
Post
by xpmps » Sun Apr 01, 2012 12:12 pm
To date I have not managed to install Twonky on my NAS Server 7.0.5 DNS-325.
I have run the previous version 6.0.39 but this I can not.
I bought the license for it and now I see that there is no explanation or anything like that to upgrade to the latest version.
I do not recommend the purchase of the license.

Have you read the Linux-HowTo.txt file? It contains all the basic information you need.

I've tried and it still fails. The information is in English is not generic.
I'm still with version 6.0.39 which I have NO problems for installation.

the startup file has been renamed
http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.ph ... 856#p40732
Version 6.039:
/usr/local/twonkymedia/twonkymedia
Version 7.05:
/usr/local/twonky/twonkystarter
Easiest, rename twonkystarter to twonkymedia

after updating to 7.0.5, i have the following error:
wget
http://127.0.0.1:9000
–2012-04-04 16:21:36–
http://127.0.0.1:9000/
Connecting to 127.0.0.1:9000… failed: Connection refused.
How can fix this?
Note.- In 6.0.39 using wget command i get the index.html file.
and the ps -aux report the twonky server is running.
thanks
