Hi everyone

Im having some problems when I try to remotely access (online, not over LAN) twonkyserver on my WD Mybook Live and I would be forever grateful if someone could help me out.

I have followed a guide (http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-459592) to update twonky to 7.0.8 on my Mybook Live, and last night I updated it to the latest 7.0.9 (7.0.9-Special//twonky-powerpc-glibc-2.2.5-special-7.0.9.zip).

I have changed the following in /var/twonky/TwonkyServer/twonkyserver.ini:

# enable https remote connections
enabletls=0
# dynamic dns prefix for remote access, including http://
dyndns=http://(mydomain.net)
# access to web config pages, 0 for denied, 1 for local only, 2 for open
enableweb=2
# http server port for remote access
httpremoteport=9100
# enable remote access
remoteaccess=1

The port is forwarded in my router and when I goto my domain in my browser it asks for the login/password that I have set up in twonky (via the webinterface on port 9000).

Here is a screenshot of what Im seeing after I have logged in: http://i48.tinypic.com/ydpcj.png

I Have tried with both Google Chrome and IE9.

What could be the problem? I sent an email to Twonky Support but apparently they don't offer support for NAS devices.

Even if you did get it to work,
long story short, it wouldnt work the way you would want it to
But it is possible to do, you need to do some editing
works like a champ, for myself and many others whom I have shared it with

What do you mean with "work the way you would want it to"?

I wanna be able to browse my content where the files are linked to my dyndns instead of my local IP as it is when I browse in http://192....:9000. Even when I use my dns on port 9000 all files is still linked to my local IP.

edit: Im gonna take a look at your guide, Thanks!
