Re: client blocking?
Clients are managed by mac address, as ip address can change, mac address are for the most part static
if you look under sharing then under media receivers
youll see a list of clients by mac address and there currently assigned ip address
if you see the client you want to block, just remove the check from the box to the left of the client
then click save changes
the client is now blocked from access, they will get a access denied message when connecting

Re: client blocking?
Thank you, but that is not that what i need.
For this client, the Twonky server not even be visible on the network.
For this client, the Twonky server should not exist!
Is that possible for Twonky Server?

Re: client blocking?
Doubt it. DLNA annoucement/discovery is a broadcast protocol, i.e. all devices in the sub-net can see the broadcast messages. The client devices decide if they are interested in the broadcast messages or not. If it was not that way then it would not be an annoucement/discovery protocol.matradix wrote:Thank you, but that is not that what i need.

Your options seem to be:
1) Block discovery at the client end
2) Put the particular client in a different sub-net
