MKV Tags & Cover - nothing appears in Twonky

I am using Twonky for MP3s since long time and also created NAV-trees for release 6&7 (thanks to phibertron).
Now I want to run a Twoky instance for my MKVs but I cannot get any TAGs in Twonky Server and also the cover is not shown in a client. The only info is the title, size & duration - the date is shown, but it is not the date from the DATE_RELEASED tag. The MKVs are muxed with MKVToolnix and the TAGs added with XML (as described on Matroska pages) and are shown with MediaInfo.
In the json database my TAGS to not appear. Interestingly also with sample movie snippets from the WEB I don't get the details correct in Twonky. I am currently using Twonky 7.1.2

I want to use the TAGs for my video NAV-tree and showing more details (e.g. DESCRIPTION) in a client and of course the cover also should show up.
Did someone solve this ?

I don't see a specific field for DATE_RELEASED

But depending on what version of TS you are using
It is possible to leverage the DESCRIPTION using dc:description
which I have toyed around with in the past

The only fields that are looked at that can be leveraged in the view xml's
