mp4 max file size

Is the max file size 2 gigs on mp4's? I have a mp4 at about 3 gigs but twonky interface says its 2048 megs and wont stream it.

there is no limit
except if the it is greater than 4GB
it had to have been encoded, with large file support setting, which enables 64bit support in the MP4 container
does the file play on a pc?

yes it plays on the pc via network mapped share. The file properties says its size is: 3,434,707 KB.
The web interface for twonky (running on windows 7) says the filesize is 2048 MB.

Are the video and audio codecs used in the mp4 supported by your client?
Also, the settings used to encode them can also be a factor
