Short cuts to Video Files?

I have a QNAP NAS running my Twonky Media Server to a WDTV Live.

I would like to be able to be more creative with the folder architecture and have multiple copies of the movie under different folders. The type of set up I am after is

All Movies
Action Movies
Romantic Movies
Oscar Winners
Year
.........2014
.........2013
.........2012
Actors
.........Actor 1
.........Actor 2
Director
.........Director 1
Children's Movies

I would love to have all the movies under the "all movies" folder, and have short cuts in the other folders to redirect the media server to the original file. Is this possible?

Cheer

If all of your media is tagged, and if twonky recognizes those tags correctly
Then there is a middle ground that can be achieved
by leveraging certain tags to take on the role of being filters in the navtree
but it involves having a plan to organize the folder structure and the navtree code
to achieve this with limitations of course

for example All of my vidoes, are mp4's and have tags added using mp3edit
I use the genre tag to assign videos to single or multiple root and sub genres
and then use a root folder for each major genres

note:
the only tag that is multi value enabled is the genre tag, a total bummer....

take a read through this, a little is different in 7.2.8, but the info from this thread helps
Navtree 7 (How to show folders at the root solved and more)
