I'm running Twonky on a Centos 6.6 box.
Just have upgraded to 7.3 and when rescanning the content directories twonkyserver goes to 100% and the scan does not continue.
The problem directory is one containing H.264 videos (mp4 etc) - a small number of videos are scanned before the process goes to 100% CPU :
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
32287 root 20 0 151m 24m 2524 S 100.0 0.3 326:44.94 twonkyserver
Killing the process, or restarting the server from the GUI doesn't help - twonkyserver restarts but goes to 100% CPU again.
Anyone else seen this, or have any suggestions ?

I would first try and see if you can identify what specific media item is causing the issue
and see if you can move it out of the share
Or
I would try and go back to 7.2.8
