Twonky Server 8.0.3 on Windows 8.1 Pro (fully patched/updated)
Two issues:
Installation/Activation - when installing it complains that my key is invalid (same issue occurred with 7.2.8, but support confirmed key is valid). I worked around this by installing as trial, then lauching Twonky after install completed, then entering key.
Twonky Server in Ninja Mode - Twonky icon is systray remains gryed out. Only options I can select are 1) Autostart (this is checked) 2) Start 3) Exit - Twonky Server Settings and Control Point are inaccessible/greyed out). Selecting start has no impact. Toggling Autostart off/on has no impact. Rebooting has no impact. Uninstall and reinstall has no impact.
Even though it is showing as inactive, I can confirm Twonky is running by entering VIA IP:9000 (or Windows Explorer>Click Network>Right Click Twonky Proxy and select device web page). I have confirmed Twonky is not only running but that it is working (I can access my media VIA other devices i.e. phone, Roku etc.) It's very frustrating not knowing if it is actually running, and being unable to access the interface VIA the systray icon.
As a picture is worth a thousand words, I've attached several screen shots to show what is happening.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
