"All tracks" option

Post by JeremyP99 » Tue Jan 19, 2016 3:47 pm

I use just the "By folder" navigation option; regardless, I get an option entitled "All tracks", which seems to have a random selections of tracks and is only a small fraction of my collection. I'd like to get rid of this option. How? Am on 8.0.3, Windows 10 x64 all updates

Hi,

you can use the Navigation Tree Builder on the setup page to create your own navigation tree. This can only contain the By Folder view.
You can set this newly created view as your default on the same page then.

Best regards,
Marco

Thank you, I'll try that - but why am I offered something I have not configured, and which is misleading - "All Tracks" contains less than a fifth of my complete collection, and seems to be a random selection!

Not sure! All Tracks should contain all tracks, that's why it's called All Tracks ;). It should be sorted alphabetical. Therefore it's strange that it's a random selection.

Which client do you use to browse the server? Maybe that's an issue with the request the device sends?! Just a guess...

You could provide a log file for the issue. More on enabling logging can be found here: http://twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3922

The server is connected to a Marantz M-CR510 network device which streams my audio collection. Thanks for the tip on logging. I'll try the navigation tree option and see if that sorts this out.
