m3u Playlist issue / v 8.3 for Linux i686

Hello,

I had been using v8.1.0-rc1 for over a year and three days ago figured to upgrade to 8.3 .

I am a big m3u playlist user as it removes the clutter made by individual files that greatly lengthen "Artist", "Album" database listings.

Under v8.3, None of the 3300+ playlists resident with my music files were cataloged. Only "Most Played, "Last Played", "Recently Added", and "Highly Rated" appeared. I had cleared and reinstalled 8.3 again, also flushed (deleted) cache folders with no change in behavior.

I backtracked to v8.2. Playlists work in this version. (not sure if the WDTV Live 2nd gen has a drill down issue with playlists / tbd)

Is the 8.3 playlist experience a glitch or a permanent change from accommodating other devices and radio streams?

Thanks.

Currently using: twonky-i686-glibc-2.9-8.2
Clients used: WDTV Live Gen1, Foobar2000, PlugPlayer, WDTV Gen2, PC
