I'm running a QNAP T469L 3GB Ram (intel CPU) with 4 x WD WD30EFRX 3TB disks as Raid5. Just upgraded the NAS to QNAP fw 4.3.3 which means that Twonky server is no longer supported, so removed old Twonky 8 and installed, via qpkg, 8.4-2. All ok, re-did the config and started the db scan for about 12,000 albums (let's say 120,000 tracks) & 2000 movies. 54 hours later the scan is still running (see below).
So how long should the Twonky scan take?

Re: Twonky 8.4-2 Scan time
Problem solved...
I had the Folders specified as in 8.2 as, for excample, "Multimedia/Movies". I changed them to be, for example, "/Multimedia/Movies" and everything is then ok!
Looks like the scan will take about 6-7 hours, but that's better than days & days (or forever)... Interesting bug!
