Real filename from $ filename

Post by EOlsen » Mon Mar 19, 2018 4:49 pm

Hello,

sometimes I hear music from my NAS with foobar. Then I get occasionally error messages like the following:

Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported format or corrupted file):
"http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:50599/disk/DLNA-P ... 986634.mp3"

How can I determine the real filename from that $ filename?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

the same is when I show for example pictures in firefox.
The the URL is for example: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:50599/disk/DLNA-P ... 531338.jpg

How can I determine the real file- and ordername from that $ filename?

Is that even possible

Thank you in advance
