Server not found

Hi there,
I was still using version 2.8 of the musicserver since last weekend on a linux box (SLES8). After a harddisk crash I'm now recovering that box. Until the crash I simply started the server using
./musicserver-glibc2.2 -D
Now I've got the problem that my clients (2*MP101) can't find the server anymore. The server is up and listens on ports 9010 and 9080. No changes were made to the configuration.
I've already tried to copy the binary directly from the original .zip archive to a new directory on the linux box.
The Windows-Version of the server is found immediately after being started (on my desktop PC).
Does anyone have an idea? Is there a possibility to see if a client tries to connect?
