Windows problem with .ini file

Post by audiophile » Mon Jul 02, 2007 8:06 pm

I'm having a weird issue with the twonkyvision-mediaserver.ini file on Windows XP SP2. Whenever I try to edit the file, it is not saving the changes. I have Twonky 4.4 installed as a service. I'm trying to get the webbrowsing enabled by tweaking the dyndns variable, but its not working. I have stopped the service, changed the file, saved it, reloaded the service and then the file gets changed to its previous values. Anytime the service restarts, it seems to be creating the .ini file from some other file somewhere. Is there anywhere that this could be? It seems to be tied to the /resources directory since after I tried to get the FLASH player going, my CD key was deleted out of the .ini file on a service restart.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot.
