Dear twonky team,
why it is not possible to stream TIF - files to the PS3?
JPEG works fine, but TIF files are shown as 'not compatible'.
From an attached USB - disc everthing works fine.
Thanks for answering,
Best regards,
Karsten

TIF files streamed to PS3
I'm not sure what you mean by your question.mgillespie wrote:Does the PS3 client support viewing TIF's locally?
Again my experience with the different programs etc.:
- streaming JPEG to PS3: ok
- streaming TIFF to PS3: not compatible data
- using Windows viewer: Quicktime shows all pictures
- using USB hard drive: all pictures (TIFF and JPEG) are shown
So: Because PS3 is able to show TIFF files (using usb disc or something similiar) it should be also possible to stream these pictures. Perhaps this assumption is already wrong. I cannot find any details for dlna functionality but would be interested if this is my personal problem or a PS3, Twonky one.
System: MSS+, Twonky 4.4, PS3 latest firmware
Please let me know if I can test something for clarification.
Thanks for the fast reply and your next hint to solve this problem.
Best regards,
Karsten
