Version 4.4 is very instable

Hi,
I am running TV 4.4 on a PC. My mediafile are on two Buffalo Terastations. There are about 40.000 files (pictures, music, video, etc). Since Version 4.4 the server crashes about every two days. After the crash the server could not recover all mediafiles, so I have to rebuild the database (duration, about 2h).
Could the reason for the server crashes be found in the matter of fact that I switch off the two terastations every night?
The scan cyclus of Twonky server is set to -1.

Please help me. The situation is very annoying. Thank you.

please do not use -1 with network drives

set the scantime to 0 and see if this helps
